Southeast

Southeast Calgary lays East of Macleod Trail, South of Memorial Drive, and is bordered by Stoney trail. Within this quadrant are some of Calgary’s newly revitalizing communities as well as many established suburbs.

Centrally, the communities of Inglewood and Ramsay are quickly rising to be amongst the most trendy and desirable areas in the city for new development. With artistic charm, local shopping, and a vibrant network of breweries and restaurants, these areas on the Eastern edge of Downtown Calgary are the place to be for a new generation of Calgarians. Quick access to the City Centre, river pathways, and both the Calgary Zoo and Science Center means that urban convenience greets you at your front door.

To the South, established suburbs such as Willow Park, Lake Bonavista, and Midnapore sit at the doorstep of the expansive Fish Creek Provincial Park. These communities are designed with families in mind and offer great access to schools, arenas, recreation centres and more.

The newly developed communities of Mahogany, Auburn Bay and Mackenzie Towne in the deep south offer space for young families to grow at affordable entry prices. Situated along the Calgary’s major traffic routes, they allow residents a high speed direct route to the Downtown Core via the Deerfoot.
